Fully agree. One problem with the ‘familiar’ criterion though: familiar to whom? Even familiar concepts can actually be cryptic. Like using ‘!’ instead of ‘send’ for actors in Scala because ‘!’ is familiar from Erlang (but familiar to whom?). twitter.com/jacek_bilski
