So this might be a way to mimic conversation in a chatbot: Know and reply appropriately to some adjacency pairs (could this be what pattern-matching chatbots do?), say something (further) about the current topic (this second point is what I tried to implement), and fill up gaps with senseless utterances and mimics (done a little through a simple list of words now).
